Weekend Getaway

We made the trip across the state last weekend to visit Brian's parents; as always, it was great to see them and Jake really enjoyed himself. And we couldn't have asked for better weather--60 and sunny both days we were there meant a lot of outdoor play time!


Saturday night, we went out to dinner for Brian's Aunt Laureen's birthday; she didn't know we were coming, so it was nice to be able to surprise her! Dinner was delicious and everyone came back to the house afterward for cake (the best part of any bday celebration!)
